EVITA
is part of a new wave of artists resetting the limits of music and art. Born and based in Los Angeles, Evita is a modern-day multi-hyphenate: vocalist, songwriter, producer, director and boundary-pushing creative. Classically trained from the age of nine, Evita began singing choral music under the direction of the late Paul Salamunovich. Integrating these formative musical experiences with the music she grew up with at home, Evita has since developed a sound that is distinct and inimitable. A skilled vocalist and gifted lyricist, she has crafted a signature sound that merges the Latin, RnB, and Funk sounds of her youth, with the vocal stacking and arranging techniques of a seasoned chorister.
Evita’s debut EP “Ashes In A Vase” (2019) was described as “luminous…elegant…and string drenched” built on melancholic pop melodies, soulful rhythms, and heartbreakingly cognizant lyrics.
Evita’s latest release “Love, Temptation” (2025) explores similar sonic avenues, but also ventures into more upbeat and experimental territories. Referencing RnB, Bossa Nova, and the sounds of the West Coast with a celestial and mysterious edge.
